Celestial Mundane transforms an ordinary dolly into a drawing device based on the orrery, an 18th-century mechanical model used to represent the movement of the solar system. A system of rotating arms and LED lights representing the Earth, Moon, and Sun moves as the dolly is pushed through space, producing circular patterns that become visible through long-exposure photography.
